New After Hours Call Service

Starting 10/3/2023!

After 50 years of using a paging service, we decided it was time to upgrade!

Starting, Tuesday October 3, after hours calls to Tosa Pediatrics will be forwarded to a new, more robust service. The good news is that you will now be able to leave messages for the nurses after hours and before 7am.  However, breaking with long tradition, our new service will incorporate a phone tree.  (We kind of cringed, too).  In the event of an urgent (non-911) medical issue, you will still be able to page a physician at home through a live operator.  For non-urgent calls, you will receive specific instructions that our previous service was unable to provide.  For fun, we were hoping to use our voices in the message, but alas, we are stuck with the computer voice!  At least the script is ours!

It will take some getting used to for all of us, but in the end we hope it helps you navigate your after-hours needs more easily!
